As GRI continues to grow and expand its reach across the globe, we note that the need for healing and transformation of gender injustice in our society and in our personal lives becomes a more pressing one. A courageous group of 21 women and men from around Cape Town responded to this urgent call and stepped into a year-long journey and immersion in Gender Equity and Reconciliation that concluded yesterday. We danced, sang, laughed and delved deeply as we shared our truths and experiences with mutual respect, compassion and understanding.
