Gender Equity and Reconciliation Training 2018-2019
PLEASE READ ALL SECTIONS CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY
Gender Equity and Reconciliation International is committed to providing trainings of the highest standards to as many qualified students as possible. As such, when feasible, Gender Equity and Reconciliation International seeks to offer financial assistance to students in need. Those who would otherwise be unable to attend our trainings and who have no other options available should complete this form. All personal information provided will be kept confidential. Assistance consists of tuition reductions granted to you in exchange for completing work-study assignments.
When applying, please consider your financial capacity and options carefully. We encourage you to be as creative and resourceful as possible. Therefore, please consider the following options before applying for financial assistance.
DISCOUNTS
There are a few options available to you to reduce the cost of TRACK I of the Yearlong Gender Equity and Reconciliation Training:
- Pay in full before the early enrollment deadline. Doing so offers significant savings.
- You can apply for a group discount. A discount of 20% off the full tuition is available to groups of four or more individuals applying to the Gender Equity and Reconciliation Training for the first time. To qualify the following requirements must be met
- This must be the first time you are applying to this training
- The group must be composed of four or more applicants
- The group must be gender diverse
- Each individual must complete the application process before the early enrollment deadline
Group discounts are valid for one year. Students continuing on with Track II and/or Track III must reapply for financial assistance. Those applying for group discounts are not eligible for additional discounts; such as early registration or financial assistance.
PAYMENT PLANS
Wherever your tuition total happens to fall, there are two payment plan options available. Be advised, if you decide to utilize a payment plan, an administrative fee is added for each transaction ($15 US, R75 South Africa, and Rs. 100 India). All payment plans must be arranged prior to the first training module, and the final payment must be made prior to the last training module.
Option 1
- You may make 3 equal payments spread out over the course of the year.
- Remember to add in the administrative fee when calculating your totals.
- If you elect this option, your fees will total $45 USD, R225, and Rs. 300, respectively.
Option 2
- You may make 10 consecutive monthly payments, beginning with the first month of the training.
- Again, remember to add in the administrative fee when calculating your totals.
- If you elect this option, your fees will total $150 USD, R750, and Rs. 1,000, respectively.
SCHOLARSHIPS/BURSARIES
We may be able to offer limited scholarships/bursaries towards the cost of tuition for Training. We encourage those who need this type of financial support to apply. We are not able to fund travel expenses. All scholarships/bursaries must be arranged in advance of the first Training Module.
Remember, please consider other resources that might be available to you such as borrowing from friends or family, fundraising events/websites, or utilizing a credit card.

- Accommodations and meals are the responsibility of the student.
TRANSPORTATION
Remember, any transportation cost is the participant’s responsibility. Cost of transportation, of any kind, is not awarded with any scholarship.
