A group of 22 trainees from six different countries (Mexico, India, Colombia, Russia, Mexico, and the United States) came together for Module II of the Gender Equity and Reconciliation Training on Sexuality and Spirituality outside of Seattle, Washington from August 7-12, 2016.

These inspiring women and men continued their inner work of the heart for outer service in the world and deepened their knowledge and learning of the GERI process. Through dance, movement, creativity and song, we explored the intersection of spirituality and sexuality and spoke truth to our experiences as women and men. We were honoured to welcome Dr Samantha van Schalkwyk to this training module and it was a real privilege to hear her share the initial findings of the research project on the Gender Reconciliation that she is conducting in Trauma Reconciliation Studies at the University of the Free State (UFS), South Africa. As a training team, it was a joy to guide the trainees throughout the week, and particularly to hold space for the group as they practiced facilitating this work.

Thank you Scott Van Note for sharing your passion for movement with us. Deep gratitude to you all for showing up fully and so beautifully to continue this work. With blessings from the training team: Julien Devereux, Zanele Khumalo, John Tsungme Guy, Cynthia Brix and Will Keepin.
