Facilitators
Rev Cynthia Brix is an interfaith minister and co-founder of the Gender Reconciliation International Project, which has organized more than 75 intensive gatherings in seven countries for healing and reconciliation between women and men. She has recently received an honorary doctorate from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco. Cynthia is also co-founder of the Women’s Spiritual Mastery project and organized an international women’s conference in Turin, Italy.

Julien Devereux is a consultant and a senior facilitator for Gender Reconciliation International in Dallas. He is Chair Elect of ManKind Project USA and is passionate about MKP USA as a brotherhood of men changing the world. Julien believes that MKP USA can endeavor to create opportunities to recognize and engage with women through mutual respect and trust. Julien serves on the senior staff at Eupsychia Institute where he leads training programs in Integrative Breathwork.

Jane Calbreath is a nonprofit consultant with 20 years experience leading organizations and working with groups.  She has a B. A. in Transpersonal Psychology from Sonoma State University and a M.A. from the California Institute of Integral Studies in Organizational Transformation. Jane has been a supporter of Gender Reconciliation for 8 years and has completed the facilitator training in 2013. Her personal mission is to support the healing of gender wounds and create greater harmony and shared power between women and men.

John Tsungme Guy is a program officer and facilitator with Gender Reconciliation International in Seattle. He is a psychotherapist in private practice, specializing in helping men develop presence and depth in their relationships through mindfulness practices. He earned a BA in Sociology from the University of Nevada and an MA in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University. He has worked with youth and adults in diverse settings to instill positive lifestyle habits and foster healthy relationships since 2003.

SPECIAL GUEST
Sommer Joy Albertsen is deeply called to be a NIA teacher after she discovered this form of movement in 2008. She received her Blue Belt in Hawaii in 2012, and her Brown Belt in 2014. She is also a Core Team Member & Coach for the world wide nonprofit called Compassion Games International and is a Seattle leader for the national organization It’s Time Now, Created to empower women and girls as leaders.
